【句式拓展】
非谓语动词中的独立结构：
（1）现在分词类：honestly/personally/generally/strictly speaking, judging from/by, taking everything into account, considering that, seeing that, assuming that, supposing, talking of, including等。
Judging from his past performances, he is not likely to do very well in this exam.
从他过去的表现来判断，他在这次考试中不可能表现得很好。
Seeing that nobody was very enthusiastic about it, they decided to cancel the trip.

（2）过去分词类：given, provided (=providing), compared to/with等。
Given another chance, he will surely succeed.
