if 引导的条件状语从句

位置：if引导的条件状语从句，可放在主句之前，也可放在主句之后。

例句：If you take the bus to the party, you will be late.

这个句子可以改写为：You will be late if you take the bus to the party.

1. 如果主句含有must/can/may等情态动词，从句一般用一般现在时。

示例：You must stop if the traffic light is red.

2. 如果主句是祈使句，从句一般也用一般现在时。

示例：Please stay at home if it rains tomorrow.

I think I will go to the movies tonight.

If I go to the movies, I won't finish my homework.

If I don't finish my homework, ...
