eg：Time is often compared to money.人们常把时间比作金钱。

►It rains a lot.下雨量很大。

①rain在此用作动词，意为“下雨”。

②a lot在句中作状语或宾语，意为“许多；大量”，而a lot of则表示“许多……”。

它的后面既可以跟可数名词，也可以跟不可数名词。

eg：I have learned a lot from him.我从他身上学到了很多。
