【辨析】at the end of，in the end与by the end of

①at the end of意为“在······的末尾；在······结束时”，可以表示时间，也可以表示地点。

eg：You can put it at the end of your bed.你可以把它放在你的床尾。

②in the end意为“最后；终于”，与at last和finally同义。

eg：In the end he passed the exam.最后他终于通过了考试。
