be动词的一般现在时
be动词
be动词表示“......是......”。现在时有am, is, are三种,其原形动词都是be,所以把它们成为be动词。
I am happy.
She is my classmate.
They are student.
定义
be动词常与名词、形容词或其他此类一起表示主语的性质、状态、身份、特点等。be动词的一般现在时有am, is, are三种形式,由主语的人称和数来决定用那一种。
be动词的一般现在时的构成
1.肯定句: 主语+ be
I am thirteen years old. 我13岁。
We are classmates. 我们是同班同学。
Tony is a student. 托尼是一名学生。
2.否定句: 主语 + be + not + …
Tony is not a student. 托尼不是一名学生。
We are not classmates. 我们不是同班同学。
3.一般疑问句: Be +主语 +…?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + be.
否定回答:No, 主语 + be + not.
—Are you from America? 你来自美国吗?
—Yes, I am./ No, I ’m not.
是的,我是来自美国。/不,我不是。
4.特殊疑问句: 特殊疑问词 + 一般疑问句?
Where are you from? 你来自哪里?
What ’s your name?你叫什么名字?

Around the world
Family name and Given name
In Chinese, the family name is first and the given name is last.
Family name(Last name) + Given name(First name)
In English, the given name is first and the family name is last.
Given name(First name) + Family name(Last name)
