Buckingham Palace

白金汉宫(Buckingham Palace）英国的王宫。建造在威斯敏斯特城内，位于伦敦詹姆士公园（St. James ’ Park）的西边，1703年为白金汉公爵所建而得名，最早称白金汉屋，意思是“他人的家”。

Tower of London

伦敦塔九百多年来曾先后作为王宫、兵工厂、监狱及城堡，是伦敦最著名的建筑物之一。城堡共有22个高塔组成。

London Eye

伦敦眼是世界上第三大摩天轮，为了纪念千禧年（2000年）而建。它坐落在泰晤士河畔，伦敦市国会大厦前面。伦敦眼高135米，可鸟瞰周围25英里以内的景观。

1. famous /'feɪməs/ adj. 著名的

eg：Liu Huan is a famous singer. 刘欢是一位著名的歌手。

2. with /wɪð/ prep. 具有；带有

eg：She has a house with a garden. 她有一座带有一个花园的房子。

3. above /ə'bʌv/ prep. 在……之上

eg：There is a picture above the bookshelf. 在书架上方有一幅画。

4. the best way to do sth. 做某事的最好方法

eg：This is the best way to learn English.

这是学英语的最好方法。

【注意】the best way to do sth.＝ the best way of doing sth.意为“做某事的最好方法”，其中to do sth.为动词不定式短语作后置定语，修饰the best way。

eg: The farmers thought of the best way to protect their crops.

农民们想出了保护庄稼的最好办法。

5. next to 在……近旁

eg：There is a river next to my home.

在我家近旁有一条河。

6. finish /'fɪnɪʃ/ v. 结束，完成

eg：The teaching day finishes at around 4 pm.

一天的教学在下午4点左右结束。

【注意】finish后面接名词或动名词作宾语，不能接动词不定式作宾语。

eg：I finished reading the book yesterday.

昨天我把那本书看完了。
