3. sleepy adj. 困的，想睡的

sleepy可作表语或定语

Look at the sleepy girl. She is sleepy.

5. awful adj. 极讨厌的；极坏的

had 在句中是动词的过去分词，与助动词have 构成现在完成时。

又因为had(have)是延续性动词，故可以和表示一段时间的状语连用。

Tony bought the car two years ago.

托尼两年前买的这辆车。

= Tony has had the car for two years.

托尼拥有这辆车已经有两年了。

【拓展】延续性动词表示能够延续的动作，可以与表示时间段的状语连用。

2. Perhaps I am too weak to do any exercise.

too…to…意为“太……而不能……”，

too后面接形容词或副词，to后面接动词原形。

可以与not…enough to…的结构互换。

Little Ashley is too young to look after herself.

= Little Ashley is not old enough to look after herself.
