1.原因状语从句

表示主句行为的原因的从句是原因状语从句。

原因状语从句的连词引导，常用的是because。

eg. We went by bus because it was cheaper.

我们乘公交汽车去，因为这样便宜一些。

I do it because I like it.

我做这件事是因为我喜欢。

注意:

1) because 习惯上不能与 so 连用;

2) because引导的原因状语从句有时可以与带有because of 短语的句子互换。

eg. I can ’t get to sleep because there is noise outside.

= I can ’t get to sleep because of the noise outside.

由于外面声音嘈杂我睡不着。

2.目的状语从句

表示主句行为的目的从句是目的状语从句。

目的状语从句的连词引导，常用的是so that。

eg. I got up early so that I could catch the first bus.

我起得很早，目的是为了赶上头班公共汽车。

She worked hard so that everything would be ready by 5 o'clock. 她努力工作，以便在五点前是一切都就绪。

3.结果状语从句

结果状语从句表示“由某个行为而导致的结果”。

结果状语从句的连词引导，常用的是so。

eg. He worked too hard, so he fell ill again.

他工作过于劳累, 结果又病倒了。

I like it so I do it .我喜欢它所以我做这件事。
